Life in Death Valley

Despite the name, Death Valley is not void of life – especially this time of year. There are nearly a thousand species of plants in the park, twenty three of which grow nowhere else. We stopped along the roadside and took pictures of a variety of flowers. For more photos, see the DesertUSA Wildflower Reports webpage. For help identifying the flowers, go here.

  1. Very nice flower pics. If you look hard in the desert areas there is always something!
